Three Little Girls, One Momma
Anyone else see the outnumbering here???
I say it all the time, I LOVE being a Momma. It's the best! Now, before you all think I am lying or nuts, YES! it has it's days... Moments..... hours..... Weeks..... and I certainly haven't acted like it lately! but bottom line - I Love it.
Little Miss Annabelle is Home! Thank you so much to all of you who have emailed, called, written, stopped over! And thank you for your understanding that I haven't had time yet to get back to all of you! Hopefully this blog will be a good way for you to stay updated!
Foster Mother's are amazing people - they love and care for a child until they are able to go home with their forever family. I had one, My daughters have each had them.... These women (and foster dad's too!) who are willing to open their heart and home to a child, KNOWING the whole time that they are going to have to let them go to someone else, yet loving them unconditionally. I don't know if I would be strong enough to do that. I think a little piece of my heart would go with that sweet child wherever they are.
Birth Mothers - There's some other amazing women. A woman who loves their child SO much that they realize that for whatever reason, they aren't able to give them the care that they need. So, they opt to go through pregnancy, labor, delivery and the giving up of their baby. These women are strong, kind & loving. I'm thankful for mine, and for my daughters.
However our families are made, Family is a blessing! We are given parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, brothers, sisters, Extended family and Friends who ARE family. We are all unique, set apart as units of love. For ALL of my family, I am Thankful!
